[b. 1980 - Arlington, Virginia] is an emerging artist from Woodbridge, VA who creates vivid and colorful works that urge viewers to surrender to joy and presence. Clarita Herce is also a drawing and painting instructor at George Mason University and is currently an Adjunct Professor of Painting 1. She graduated first in the School of Art and Art History class of 2003 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from James Madison University and has a Master of Fine Arts with a concentration in Painting from George Mason University.
